Kevin Gaudet has 25 years of experience in government relations, communications, marketing, strategy and policy in both the public and the private sector.
Kevin has represented clients at all levels of government for chemical companies, industrial, retail, and commercial real estate; national trade associations and pension funds.
As the Federal/Ontario Director for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Kevin was credited with many policy and communications successes in the areas of taxation and finance and he made frequent policy and media contributions on infrastructure and P3s. In this role he also received the Loyalist College Branding award.
During his time with Sprint Canada, and then with MTS/Allstream Telecommunications, Kevin led the company’s $80 million B2B IP Marketing Product Portfolio team, launching seven new products and services.
Strategic communications is one of Kevin’s considerable strengths and he is an accomplished spokesperson. He has been published in every major newspaper in Canada, appeared on the Dragon’s Den, Steve Paikin’s The Agenda and on CBC’s The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos, and was a daily on-air business contributor for Sun News Television. Kevin is a frequent contributor on AM 640 news’ the John Oakley Show and Global TV’s national morning show.
Kevin has been politically active for decades. He co-chaired the Ontario PC Party 2017 policy convention, helping develop the platform for the 2018 provincial election. He has been engaged on campaigns for Alberta’s Wild Rose Party, the Saskatchewan Party, the PC Party of Ontario and for the Conservative Party of Canada. Early in his political career Kevin served as the Director of Opposition Research for Preston Manning, when Mr. Manning was the leader of the Reform Party of Canada. He has lived in eight provinces and is functionally bilingual.
Kevin has his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He studied graduate communication theory at the University of Amsterdam and has a B.A. Philosophy from the University of Lethbridge.
